Hello, my name is Angélica Vergara Cusihuallpa. I am a professional environmental engineer from the Anta District in Cusco, Peru. I specialize in training and coaching water and sanitation services administration boards (JASS). Previously, I worked in the Ministry of Housing in the rural sanitation program with the chlorination strategy project.I have worked with 33 Buckets in the district of Ccorca in Cusco since 2021 training water management teams and supporting youth-centered WASH education in schools. My hobbies are listening to music, traveling, and my son. 

Hola, me llamo Angélica Vergara Cusihuallpa. Soy ingeniera ambiental profesional del Distrito Anta en Cusco, Perú. Me especializo en la capacitación y entrenamiento de las juntas administradoras de servicios de agua y saneamiento (JASS). Anteriormente, trabajé en el Ministerio de Vivienda en el programa de saneamiento rural con el proyecto de estrategia de cloración.He trabajado con 33 Buckets en el distrito de Ccorca en Cusco desde 2021 formando equipos de gestión del agua y apoyando la educación WASH centrada en los jóvenes en las escuelas. Mis pasatiempos son escuchar música y viajar, y  mi hijo.

When asked about her experience working with 33 Buckets, Angelica had this to say:

“Well the experience [working with 33 Buckets] that I have is beautiful and very interesting. It allows me to connect with the local people, people of many professionals, and it’s very nice to provide these services. My work is for them, for the people that need the services. It’s my wish to continue working with the NGO for as long as possible.”
