I joined the 33 Buckets team during my junior year at Arizona State University as an intern for the marketing team after being inspired by the 33 Buckets’ impact during my time in college. I’ve stayed with the team since then and am happy to help expand the 33 Buckets’ impact in the coming years.
During my time as an intern, I led several fundraising campaigns for the organization. One of my favorite memories during this time included working virtually alongside Rebeca Benites, a local videographer in Cusco, Peru, to create a mini documentary, highlighting the growth of one of the first communities we partnered with in Peru. I joined the 33 Buckets team because of their value to longitudinal relationships with our partnered communities to create real, sustainable change so this experience culminated everything that I see 33 Buckets doing right as a nonprofit and really allowed an inside view into how clean water can advance community development.
Hobbies and interests: I love being outside playing with my dog, Sushi. I also enjoy learning new topics and reading.
Inspiration: I am inspired by seeing people treat others with compassion, empathy, and understanding. I am in no way perfect, no one is, but I believe that if we all try our best to treat others with these principles we can create a better world in the future where every person feels a sense of belonging and care.
