Rachel Sowar

Donor Management & Administrative Intern

I am Rachel Sowar, I am 24 years old and am from Colorado, but spent 7 years in Northern California before moving to Scottsdale, Arizona at the start of high school. I stayed in the area for college and graduated from ASU in 2022 with a BA in Business with a focus in Global Politics. I currently work at Saint Joseph Catholic Parish as a bookkeeper and a member of the financial services team. I also work at a tourist shop in Old Town Scottsdale and absolutely love seeing people get excited about the gifts they plan to bring home.

I enjoy keeping busy and spend much of my free time going to concerts, hanging out with friends, and traveling. Even when I am relaxing on a hot Arizona day I enjoy painting, reading, and teaching myself how to crochet! By chance, I came across the 33 Buckets webpage and soon discovered that the mission of providing sustainable clean water aligned with my values perfectly. I have always thought that proper water treatment on a societal level is vastly overlooked by many non-profits and was overjoyed that this is 33 Buckets main focus! I immediately reached out, hoping that my business and donation tracking experience would be of use to 33 Buckets, and soon become a part of the team!
