Don Courtney
Born in 1943 in Memphis, TN. My father was one of seven children growing up during the GREAT DEPRESSION. It was instilled in me at a very early age to appreciate what you have and how to fix or repurposed your belongings. My father was in the hardware wholesale business for over fifty years. Due to this, he taught me how to use all types of tools and I always appreciated artwork and any handcrafted items.
You may see a old piece of wood or coconut on the beach, but I will see a piece of art.
I have been working with stained glass for over forty years. During that time I owned two retail stained glass shops in Texas.
I am now retired in Willis,Texas, but still enjoy getting in the garage and creating artwork.
