Linda ViVona
Linda Vi Vona (b. NYC 1940 currently residing in New Mexico) is a multi disciplinary artist. Her early works were primarily oils, watercolors and ink drawings. In the late 60’s she began constructing innovative Plexiglas and resin 3D works culminating in a one person exhibition at the Graham Gallery in NYC. At this time she continues developing the use of non-conventional materials with traditional ones (i.e. digital, reclaimed, ink, fabric and Styrofoam).
She has exhibited in over a hundred national shows including museum exhibitions recently at the Amarillo Museum and Islip Museum in 2019.
Vi Vona’s themes range from nature to the lyrical abstract including political and environmental concerns.
